Our Story

Lumière

"We do not design clothing for seasons. We design garments to receive the autumn light and capture the winter wind."

The Integrity of Material

LUMIÈRE was founded in Paris as an atelier study in 2024. Our goal was simple yet rigorous: to eliminate unnecessary detailing and return the focus entirely to fabric integrity, drape posture, and tactile experience.

We source our wool from historic, water-powered mills in Biella, Italy, and spin our cashmeres from organic farms in Inner Mongolia. Each coat undergoes a 48-hour hand-cutting process to ensure standard seam lines that rest naturally on the shoulder.

We believe in slow design. We release only two collections a year, focusing on custom wool, unlined cashmeres, and sculptural accessories that last for decades rather than seasons.

Time, Space & Posture

Fine stitching detail

01 — Craftsmanship

Every curve, seam, and pocket is measured to the millimeter. Our garments are stitched in limited batches by multi-generational tailors who understand how clothes live on the body.

Natural fabric yarn

02 — Sustainability

We design to limit excess. By utilizing 100% natural, biodegradable fibers and strictly manufacturing on demand, we avoid inventory surpluses and respect our ecological footprint.

Garments display

03 — Timelessness

Quiet luxury is an investment in durability. Our neutral colors, clean profiles, and robust stitchings are created to outlive visual trends and remain relevant for decades.
